The wings are are little too big, they are bigger than the body. The braces under the base are super super delicate i broke it immediately glued together fine. I didnt realize the whole thing would be so dang small with gigantic wings. It’s all not a tight fit so it’s wiggly. but it’s cute and looks like buckbeak.I bought this for my son who loves puzzles. He really enjoyed putting it together once he got the hang of it. Although you certainly could paint it, it really doesn't need it. It looks nice as is. He was so excited to display it on his dresser.I painted this to look like the picture and gave it to my daughter who is an elementary teacher to put on her desk.
