This is my favorite puzzle! The colors are so vibrant and I find the picture itself to be really cool. I also like the free-form border which adds to its beauty and difficulty level. I would not say this puzzle is necessarily hard, but some areas can be challenging (of course, that is relative to each person). If I had to rank its difficulty level, I would put it at about a 7 out of 10 (with 10 being those silly, one solid color kind of things). If it was 1000 pieces, I would raise it up to a 7.5.It is made of sturdy, fun pieces. If you have never done a wooden puzzle before, you are in for a treat! You drop these heavier pieces into place, as opposed to forcing them together like you would with a typical paperboard puzzle. This is not only more satisfying, but there is so much less chance for damage or misplacement. It provides an overall feeling of better quality/craftsmanship. Only four of my 30 puzzles are wooden; it makes for a special treat to do them once and a while. :)
