Nearly all the pieces look identical, which means you have to find the shoe or cane in your one piece, and then search the top of the box for the same detail to find a the appropriate region in the puzzle. It's like playing where's waldo for every single piece. If you want a challenge, I highly recommend, it's my favorite puzzle so far.My son grew up with Waldo and he has the books and had the puzzles, but alas they were donated years ago to charity. He wanted the Land of Waldo puzzle, so happily we found it! All the pieces are there. He is a happy camper.NOT impressed! Seven missing pieces! Nothing worse than working on a puzzle and have missing pieces :(Missing a piece ?Oddly cut pieces made this one a challenge, not to mention the endless sea of Waldos. You can piece it together in a 18x24 frame, however, it will seem too big at first and pieces will not want to lay flat as they are squeezed together. Placing books on top of it to force them down helps. It will expand and then shrink as you glue it. I glued both sides. Fits in the frame just fine.
